Here’s a dandy little option we have for you - simply add posts, submissions or even votes on your user's behalf.

To post on behalf of a user:

  1. Sign into your Hellonext account.

  2. When you create a new Post, you will see an option on the bottom of the pop-up modal to add a user's email address to post on their behalf.

  3. This will send a email notification to the user once you have posted on their behalf.

To vote on an existing post on someone’s behalf,

  1. Click on the post you wish to vote upon, on the far right, you will see an option to Vote on behalf using their email address.

  2. This will send a notification to the person on whose behalf you have voted, informing them that you have done so.

How to Disable Vote On Behalf Notification?

If your end users would rather not get these notifications, you can hop onto the Organization Settings option on the left panel of your Dashboard.

  • Under Basic settings, you can scroll down and see the Notification section.

  • Just disable the toggle for Vote On Behalf notification and viola! No more email notifications for the interactions undertaken on someone else’s behalf!

Here’s a screen recording which will take you through these steps:

Seems rather easy and simple to follow doesn’t it? That’s because it is! Do feel free to reach out to us if any queries should arise! :)
